Dramatic peaks, gullies, slopes and granite rock forms make up this image of Mt. Whitney. Captured in early winter this striking image is accentuated but the natural diagonal, emphasised by the shaded hillside in the foreground with the complementary slash of dark sky. High above the tree line the various peaks stand majestically to attention.
